Director’s Cut
A modular piece adapted to a particular space or stage
Indoor & Outdoor
Directors Cut digs into the vast Gandini repertoire and includes many of our favourite pieces, with clubs, rings, big balls and illuminated juggling pieces. A high energy, high impact slice of the Gandini’s dazzling dance juggling choreography. In the context of the high technology used during the show, Gandini present a fabulous series of juggling sentences very precisely, mixing balls with rings and clubs, accompanied by a mix of classic and electronic music.
Directors Cut was originally commissioned for the National Theatre Watch This space programme in 2009, a modular piece that has been adapted to fit various other spaces and stages around the world. It is based on a previous work called “Quartet”, supported by “Science & Art Award” of the Welcome Institute in London.
