Kati Ylä-Hokkala

Kati Ylä-Hokkala is one of her generations leading jugglers. Renowned as one of the leading innovators in dance/juggling, her ability to combine extremely complex co-ordinations is second to none. An ex rhythmic gymnast her juggling has a unique calm and precision which comes from 20 years of throwing whilst standing on one leg.

For the last decade with her partner Sean Gandini they have run Gandini Juggling, a constantly changing group of virtuoso jugglers, considered by circus connoisseurs to be the crème de la crème of dextrous creativity.

Their work, over the last decade, has gone from experimental research into the more formal aspects of juggling, to large scale spectaculars in stadiums and domes.
During the year 2000 the company expanded to 12 performers to form the largest juggling company operating in the world.

She has performed in over 2000 shows, these range from cabarets at Buckingham Palace to street shows in Africa, from Circuses in Sweden to Art Galleries in Brazil, from tennis matches in Dubai to football stadiums in Paris.
